Slot car racing like it ought to be: fun, fast, fair competition, and great fellowship!
We race four classes: JR Parma Edge, PRO Parma Edge, Open Competition, and All Run Bracket.
JR is for ages up to 13, and PRO for those racers 13 and older. These are 1/24th scale Parma EDGE Drag RTR chassis with Super 16 D motors. All cars must be "as purchased" (meaning stock tires, wheels, sealed motors, and stock gears) but can have either a lexan or hard shelled body, and no tire glue.
Open Comp is a class for all ages and cars. This is heads-up racing at its finest: no rules, just make your car go as fast as it can without tire glue.
All Run Bracket (ARB) runs on a .500 full tree with dial ins, break-outs, and all the fun of bracket racing. The only rules are no tire glue.
JR, PRO, and ARB run on a .500 full tree, but Open Comp run on a .400 pro tree to make it just like the big boys!
Our track uses a Track Mate timing system for a real drag racing experience for our racers. You can see your reaction time, speed, and elapsed time.
Here's the best part: everybody races for free! Thats right, the goal of the Pike Creek Slot Car Dragway is to provide fun, fast, fair competition, and great fellowship!

The Pike Creek Slot Car Dragway is located in the basement of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren in Monticello Indiana. Races every Sunday afternoon in four seasons of the year: August, September, October-November, January-February, and March-April. In July, there is a race between all the champions from the three seasons to declare a champion for the year. This race is held in downtown Monticello during the annual Monticello Summer Festival, and always gets lots of attention.
Beyond the track champion for each class, awards are presented for the best looking car, track record, Rookie of the year, and the coveted sportsmanship award.
